Previously, she held roles at CBS in local market research and NBCUniversal, where she also revived the UNIDOS ERG. A community advocate and founder of Celebr8YOU, Betty serves as Vice Chair of the Omega Phi Beta Foundation. She holds an M.S. in Communications from Syracuse University and a B.A. from SUNY Oswego, where she was honored with the 2021 Community Service Award.
In 2024, she graduated from the prestigious Bush Institute Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program. Most recently, she was honored by We Are The Mighty as one of the Mighty 25 in 2025 for her work with the military community.
